Choosing the Cake that’s Right for Your Event

To each his own and to each event it’s own cake. You don’t bring football boots to a golf course or armbands to a spin class. By the same token, you don’t want to end up with the wrong sort of cake for your event. Heaven forbid that you end up without enough to go around but sometimes it can be difficult to estimate what sort of cake will be best.

Firstly have a think about filling. Cake Path has many options from the classic sponge through chocolate & buttercream and everything else you can imagine (carrot cake, oreo cake etc).

Secondly get a rough estimate of how many people you want to feed. A six inch four Oreo cake for example will be perfect for an afternoon with a friend’s family and there is enough for 8-10 people to have at least one or two slices each.

Thirdly have a think about topping. Mostly Cake Path work in buttercream or similar as it creates a sheik and stylish finish. If you want a statement topper however, this can be arranged.

It may be that you just cannot decide on what you want, in which case it is best to browse through some of our previous creations or on Instagram and get an idea of what might work best. If you can still really not decide then don’t forget that we can always mix and match with a cupcake tower.
